Brown Resigns as British Prime Minister

Gordon Brown has finally resigned as the British Prime Minister after it became clear that the Conservative Party had agreed a 'workable agreement' with the Liberal Democrats.

David Cameron steps into Browns shoes and will now have to face an enormous amount of problems, some would say with one hand tied behind his back, after apparently selling away some of the Tory's main manifesto goals to appease Nick Cleggs LibDems.

So, after presenting his resignation to the Queen at Buckingham Palace, the Brown era is finally over.
